Compassion Kids
It all starts with us!
We can’t wait to see you and your family this weekend! You belong here.
At Compassion, our kids (Birth through 5th grade) experience is a safe & fun environment where they learn about Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit through the bible in a way that is made just for them while you’re getting to learn in “big church”. We want to partner with parents to raise up the next generation.
Sunday at 10:00 AM & 11:45 AM
Nursery
Birth through 2 Years
The Nursery ensures that all parents feel safe and confident leaving their child in the classroom. We want to provide a MINISTRY for each child in the nursery regardless of age, not a childcare experience. We speak life over each child through song and monthly memory verses and bible stories!
Preschool
PreK-Kindergarten
We provide a fun experience that is created especially for them. With age appropriate worship experience for the classroom to ensure each child understands why we worship our Lord through teaching a story and lesson from the Bible through videos, and characters. After worship and story we go into our small groups where trained volunteers help kids discuss what they’ve learned and how it apply to the “real world”.
Elementary
1st Through 5th Grade is a blast!
Your First Visit
First, find the area marked for first-time families. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child’s name
- Child’s birthdate
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
How Check-in Works
Before Service: You can check in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
Meet Our Interim Kids Director
Sarah Darby Warren
Hi Friend! I am so excited to meet you and your family. Some fun facts about me- I love bumble bees, books, and I will swing by a coffee shop almost every time I’m in my car. My husband and I got married in 2017, and recently adopted our 5 kiddos. 8, 7, 5, 5, and 4. I promise you, I understand the pressures and joys of being a parent. Our mission in CCKids is to create a safe & fun environment where your kids learn about Jesus. We want to partner with parents to raise up the next generation. We only get to see your kids an hour a week -this means the average parent has 75 times the influence of a church leader, thats 40 hours compared to 3,000! You are their first introduction to Jesus! It is incredible and terrifing to be a parent. I can’t wait to meet y’all and serve you, and your family, as you grow with Jesus.
See you soon and please reach out if you have any questions!
